Algebra 2H pd 1
After going over hw questions on compound inequalities, we started the lesson on solving absolute value equations. We showed how to find the solutions on the graphing calculator as well.
HW page 67 # 6-11 all and page 68 # 32, 36, and 38 and page 59 # 70.
EC question...Tell in at least two sentences why absolute value equations are v-shaped...
Geometry H pds 2,4
We started lesson 2.3 today. It covers two new theorems (statements that are proved)- the midpoint theorem and the angle-bisector theorem. You should review the definitions of midpoint(pg 13), segment bisector (pg 13) and angle bisector(pg 19). Know the difference between the definitions and the theorems.
HW Worksheet 2.3 # 1-17 all
EC problem....Write the following biconditional as a conditional statement and then write the converse statement. Are both of these true?
A point is a midpoint iff it divides a segment into two congruent segments.
Algebra 2A pd 5
HW was collected after I answered the more difficult hw problems.
We started the lesson on absolute value equations today. Lots of examples were given as notes.
HW Puzzle worksheet---Do all problems and show your work!
