We learned about medians and altitudes today. The 3 medians of a triangle meet at a point called the centroid (the center of gravity).
HW Find the measurements of the lettered angles in the picture problems on the back of today's classwork. Also, your projects on Polygon Pictures is due on Monday...

EC On a sturdy piece of cardboard or a folder, draw a large scalene triangles. Find the 3 medians of your triangle by measuring each side to get the midpoint. Label your centroid. See if a pen or pencil will balance your triangle at this point.
