We reviewed the quadratic formula and then went over the formula for finding the axis of symmetry of a parabola (x=-b/2a), as well as finding the vertex of the parabola using this information.

EC problem.....Solve the quadratic equation 2x^2-3x-5 by using the quadratic formula and by completing the square. Which method is easier? Hopefully you'll get the SAME result.
