Algebra 2H pd 1
After going over the hw on long division of polynomials, we learned a shortcut way of dividing polynomials called synthetic division. We also went over the Remainder Theorem, which states that the remainder in synthetic division = the substitution answer.
HW Worksheet -Do all problems.... # 9-12 are long division and # 13-16 are synthetic division problems. For # 17-20, use both methods (substitution and synthetic division). Bring your calculators to class on Monday!!!
EC Which method do you prefer in diving polynomials and why?

Geometry H pds 2,4
Monday is the quiz on Parallelograms and the other Special Quadrilaterals (rectangle, rhombus, and square). Also, you have a problem with the midpoint of the hypotenuse beting equidistant from the three vertices of the right triangle. There is one proof on the quiz-similar to the proof done in Friday's class.
HW Review page 197 # 1-8 all and # 13-16all + Bring your Quick Draw to class.
EC Explain why all rhombi are parallelograms, but not all parallelograms are rhombi.

Algebra 2A pd 5
Today was the quiz on Polynomials-all operations + equations.
