We started Chapter 8 today-Lesson 8.1.
We learned what is meant by the terms geometric mean. We also learned two important properties for similar right triangles. The altitude is the geometric mean between the segments of the hypotenuse. Also, Each leg is the geometric mean between the hypotenuse and the segment of the hypotenuse next to that leg.
