Algebra 2H pd 1
We learned how to complete the square when finding the standard form for the ellipse equation.
We also went over problems when the center is NOT at (0,0). Remember that a^2 = b^2 + c^2.

EC #50 ( You might want to graph the given information to figure this one out.)

We went over how to figure out the measurement of all angles related to the circle, as well as their arc measurements.
Quiz will be on Friday.

EC problem Draw a circle with your compass. Inscribe an isosceles triangle ABC with the vertex angle A = 68º. Find the measurement of the three arcs formed by your triangle.

We started the ellipse today. We went over the standard form equation for both horizontal and vertical major axes.
HW Worksheet # 29-35 all and #38--This is due on Friday because of the minimum day schedule tomorrow. There will NOT be a quiz on Friday.
