We are having a quiz on the circle and ellipse on Monday. A review sheet was given out during class today. It is to be completed before you take the quiz.

EC problem.....An ellipse has its center at (-3,2). The endpoints of its major axis are at (-3,8) and (-3,-4). The endpoints of its minor axis are at (-6,2) and (0,2).
Find the equation of this ellipse and find its foci.

Today was the quiz on the Angles of a Circle. You will get the results on Monday.
HW Worksheet on Inscribed Angles puzzle. This will be collected on Monday.
EC Explain why you had trouble or did not have trouble mastering the concept of the angles and arcs of a circle. Use at least four sentences.

We continued going over the equation of the ellipse. We went over problems in which the center was NOT at (0,0). We also went over how to complete the square for ellipse equations.
