Week Nine

Algebra 2H pd 1
We learned all about the hyperbola in class today. Vocabulary words to keep in mind are Horizontal or Vertical Transverse Axis, asymptotes, vertices, and foci.
HW Worksheet # 20,21, 24,25,27,29, and 32. (I'm not sure this is the actual assignment, but I'll give you credit if you do these problems!)
Ec problem.... an old review problem.... Solve for x and y 5x-2y=3
2x+7y=9.


Geometry H pds 2,4
Tomorrow, we will have a short quiz on the segments of a circle. Make sure you know and UNDERSTAND the new theorems about this topic.
HW Worksheet - Do ALL problems.....
EC problem....Draw a circle using your compass. Draw a tangent PA with A as the point of tangency. Then, draw secant PB from point P of the tangent. Find PA if the external segment of your secant is 16 and the internal segment of your secant is 8.
