After reviewing problems on radical expressions,students received the Practice Test for the Final Exam. If you do ALL of these problems and understand what you are doing, then you should do very well on the final exam.

pd 2 Finish # 30-45 and do # 1-14 all (Your final is on Wednesday-that's why you have more hw problems than pd 1)

Today, we had the quiz on writing the 5 ways to prove that a quadrilateral is a parallelogram. We also did a cw worksheet reviewing properties of a rhombus and square. We also learned that the midpoint of the hypotenuse of a right triangle is equidistant from the 3 vertices.

After going over the hw, we learned how to construct a rhombus with our compass and straightedge.
We also used isometric paper to draw a rhombus, square and rectangle.
HW Finish the worksheet and answer ALL of the questions on it.
EC problem...Construct a rhombus, using the method learned in today's class. Measure all angles and sides.

We learned that the median of a trapezoid = the sum of the bases/2.

EC problem- Draw a trapezoid with a median. If the median= 2x+6 and one base =6x-18, find the length of the other base if it is x.

We also went over a problem involving the use of coordinate geometry. You must review the distance and slope formulas from algebra.
