Algebra 2H pds 1,2
By Monday, I expect ALL algebra 2 students to have a scientific calculator for use in class and for the homework.
Today, we went over the hw problems and started the section on the Properties of Logs.
We learned that when you multiply logs with the same base, you actually add the logs. We also will find out that when you divide logs with the same base, you subtract the logs.
No hw due to the mininum day schedule.

EC Question- Tell how the technology used in today's lesson helped you to better understand the first property of logs.

Geometry H pds 3,5,6
Remember your Mandala Projects are due on Thursday!!!!

We reviewed the more difficult hw problems. We practiced some problems in class to prepare for Monday's quiz.
The quiz will cover circumference and area of a circle, length of an arc, and areas of sectors and segments. The quiz will be VERY similar to the Practice Quiz you did for Thursday. All formulas must be memorized.

EC problem....Draw a circle with a 12 cm radius. Find its area and circumference using pi in your answer, and then find the same answers using 3.14 as pi.
