Due to the CAHSEE, study hall was held.
We will resume our study of log word problems on Thursday.

Geometry H pds 3,5
We learned how to find the centroid of a triangle today. We drew a triangle, found the midpoint of each side, connected each midpoint to each vertex, and found the intersection. This intersection point is the centroid, also known as the center of gravity.
We also completed a crossword puzzle which reviewed terms we learned last semester.
No hw.

Math Analysis pd 4
We completed the square to find the vertex of parabolas that have values of a other than 1. We also wrote the equation of a parabola when given its vertex and a point on the parabola.
HW page 96 #24,25,31,35,39,40, and 49.
EC problem - Find the vertex and sketch the graph of: y = 1/2 x^2 - 3x + 19/2.
