We reviewed problems involving the equation of the circle,including finding the equation of a circle tangent to the x or y axis. Students must know how to complete the square in order to find the center of a circle.

There will be a quiz on Area and Circumference of the Circle, Length of an Arc of a Circle and the Area of a Sector of a Circle.

EC problem Sector AOB has an area of 72pi and an arc of 150º. Find its radius.

Math Analysis pd 4
We went over the problems from the hw worksheet including the new problems on the worksheet. For tomorrow's quiz, you need to know how to solve a cubic equation using the p/q rational roots method. Also, synthetic division is a must! The problems given will be similar to the ones done in today's class.
HW Worksheet - Do all the synthetic division problems on the top of the worksheet (letters h-p).
EC problem #9 on the same worksheet (Do this one the same way as the cubic, but use p/q for the first and second answers.)
