Week of June 1st

Algebra 2H pds 1,2
In pd 1, we started the unit on probability. Probability is the ratio of successful outcomes to total amount of outcomes possible.
HW Worksheet #15,16,21,22,24,25,28,30.
EC problem #26

Geometry H pds 3,5
Due to the field trip to UCLA, we did an activity lesson on the ratio of perimeters, areas, and volumes of similar rectangles and rectangular solids. We will go over this lesson in more depth tomorrow.
EC problem- If the ratio of the areas of two similar figures is 16:121, find the ratio of their perimeters and ratio of their volumes.

Math Analysis- pd 4
We learned how to solve 3-variable equations using determinants (Cramer's Rule).
HW Worksheet # 1,3,5 (Only find the determinant for these) and # 9,11, and 13. Remember that if the determinant is 0, there is no unique (one) solution!
EC problem #17 (One of the answers is a fraction.) Two points if done correctly!
