We relearned completing the square in order to find the center and radius of the circle in standard form. Many examples were done during class.

We went over the LA,TA,and Volume of Prisms, such as the trapezoidal and hexagonal prism. We also learned special formulas for the cube.
HW Worksheet -Do all problems except for #7,8,11, and 12.
EC - Find the TA and Volume of a regular hexagonal prism with base edge 12 cm and height 10 cm.

Pre Calculus pd 6
We started the unit on Exponential Functions today, where the variable x is the exponent. We also learned that logs are the inverse of exponent functions where y is the exponent.
HW Worksheet page 15- # 16-36 all
EC problem- Draw the graph for y = 4^x and y = (1/4)^x. What point do they share in common? Which is the growth graph? Which is the decay graph?
