Algebra 2H pds 1,4
Pd 1 class will be taking a quiz on Hyperbolas and solving equations with conics (circles, parabolas, ellipses, hyperbolas). Bring Quick Draws tomorrow with # 3 completed.
EC Question- Explain why the graph of an ellipse and hyperbola might intersect in 0,1,2,3, or 4 points. Draw pictures to illustrate the possible solutions.

Pd 4
We will finish quick Draws tomorrow.
HW pages 607-608 #4,8,24,26,31, and 33.

Geometry H pds 2,5
We learned how to calculate the ratios of perimeters, areas, and volumes of similar figures.
HW- Finish all problems on the worksheet given out in today's class.
EC question- The ratio of the lateral areas of 2 similar pyramids is 16:81.
Find the ratio of their perimeters and volumes.

Pre Calculus
Tomorrow is the quiz on Compound and Continuous Interest problems. Both formulas must be memorized for the quiz. The quiz is 6 questions.
