Today was the quiz on exponents. It appears to have been somewhat difficult for many students-is this due to not preparing for this quiz?

Geometry H pds 2,5
We went over parallel and perpendicular lines as related to algebra. Parallel lines have the same slope, but different y-intercepts. Perpendicular lines have slopes that are opposite (in sign) reciprocals of each other.
HW pages 177-178 #1-8 all and #16-19 all.
EC problem. On graph paper, graph the two equations:
y = (2/3) x + 4 and
y = (-3/2)x - 2. Are your lines parallel or perpendicular or neither?

Trig pd 6
We went over the unit circle in DETAIL today. You are responsible for knowing how to fill in a blank unit circle without your notes. We also went over odd and even functions.
