Algebra 2H pd 1
We went over the lesson on Circular Permutations (n-1)!. If there is a fixed point, then the formula is n!. If there is a reflective property (charms on a bracelet, keys, etc), then divide by 2.
HW Worksheet #11-33 odds
EC problem...Four students are chosen from a group of 10 to fill the positions of president, vice-president, treasurer, and secretary. In how many ways can this be accomplished? (This problem is NOT from today's lesson.)
Geometry H pds 2,4
We learned the LA, TA, and Volume formulas for the cylinder and cone. Most students found these formulas easy to use.
HW Worksheet on Cylinders and Cones #1,3,4,6,7,9,11,13, and 15.
You may do the other problems for extra credit (3 points!). They must be handed in before class starts....
EC problem....A cone has LA 100 pi and TA 136 pi. Find its radius and slant height.
Algebra 2B pd 5
We went over the lesson on Circular Permutations today. The formula is (n-1)! for circular permutations and n! for circular permutations relative to a fixed point. Also, divide by 2 if the objects can be reflected (keys, charms, etc).
HW Worksheet #11,13,15,17,19,21,25,27,29, and 31.
