After moving to assigned seats, we continued going over exponential functions. We learned that if the base >1, then the graph represents exponential growth. If the base is between o and 1 (a proper fraction), then the graph represents exponential decay.

We learned how to graph equations of the form y=a^x where a= the base and x = the exponent. If the base > 1, the graph represents exponential growth. If the base is a fraction between 0 and 1, the graph represents exponential decay. We also learned that the x axis is the asymptote (the line that the graph approaches but never reaches) for most exponential equations.
HW Worksheet -Do 13-16a- in other words, do ALL the graph problems.
EC problem....Find examples of the term asymptotes on the internet. Bring to class tomorrow.
